Information Privacy in Canada (Legislation in the Face of Changing Technologies)

ABSTRACT
This report provides an overview of Canadian legislation, regulations and policies concern- ing Information Privacy. Aspects raised by upcoming technological changes and regulations concerning these are examined. The issues related to government agencies, as well as the private sector are given special emphasis. Some of the `Information Superhighway' issues and considerations in the global North American context are also discussed.
