This project was inspired by the realization that so many people never get to experience all that fighting games have to offer because they are turned away by the initial difficulties of the genre.The main goal for this honours project was to explore why fighting games are so inaccessible for newcomers, and hypothesize over how the process of getting into fighting games could be easier.
