The project StudentLiving is a social media based iOS application which assists in connecting users and off campus housing around Carleton University. By doing so this creates a timely strategy to post and view housing options without having to invest much of your time into it. The application is in combination with a detailed guide will serve as teaching method to developing your very own social media based Swift 3 application. This guide documents every step that was used in developing StudentLiving for iOS and will explore concepts such as Firebase, CocoaPods and UI implementation. Ultimately, this project should be used as a boot camp to developing and using social media to create content driven applications.
