Crypto Miner Manager
ABSTRACT
2018 Carleton University Honours Project on the creation of software for the
purpose of managing cryptocurrency mining farms. Existent software of this type
focuses solely on displaying correlated data regarding physical status of miners
(temperature, fan speed, mining speed, functionality of ASIC chips). This new software
does this, with two additional features: To keep track of the miners’ physical location
within the farm, and the ability to change miner configurations from the same screen in
which physical status and location data is displayed. The additional features in this new
software makes cryptocurrency mining far more accessible to the general public by
providing ease of use with this catch-all solution, increasing revenue comparatively by
reducing the amount of manual data correlation required.
