ABSTRACT
Sims 4 is a single player life simulation game. It is often modded by players who download mods made by others to enrich their gameplay. Sims 4 has a glaring problem with the lack of story progression, that is, the NPCs do not make families on their own accord. This leads to NPCs dying off without continuing their lineage. This mod aims to implement story progression by simulating autonomous pregnancies and adoptions with the NPCs. It does so by randomly choosing who adopts or gets pregnant based off pre-specified probabilities for a sim to get pregnant or adopt depending on certain features that make them more likely to do so. Making this randomization based off features that would likely affect them makes the game more immersive and customizable to the user’s preference.
