NBA is always a popular game around the world because it is considered to be the best basketball league in the world, which means the fans of the NBA are worldwide. Besides, the Toronto Raptors is the NBA champion of 2019, so more and more Canadians will pay attention to this hot sport. However, NBA was not a popular sport in Canada before, so many people don’t know which team in the NBA is great and which player in a team is the biggest contributor. This lack of information means that we need a recommender system to assist people in assessing game outcomes. The idea of this project is to accurately predict the results of NBA games for people who bet on games. It is based on the concept of a recommendation system and it is intended to recommend a better team in a game for people to bet on and thereby improve their profit (utility) in the long term.
