ABSTRACT
Over the last decade two major trends in technology have emerged: the demand from everyday users to have control over their data, and the need to have that data secured. Emerging peer to peer technologies make creating and sharing data easier than ever, but don’t provide a way to secure the data and provide fine-grain access to other users. The paper describes one possible solution using attribute-based encryption and the dat protocol.
