The project that my team and I worked on this summer was building an internal tool for Shopify that is used to receive, centralize and coordinate the servicing of privacy rights requests across the entire organization. Our framework manages the details of requesting internal services to delete and fetch data, placing holds on requests, performing generalized locks on request processing, and managing time-dependent relationships between services.
