ABSTRACT
The rapid development of modern society has aroused people's anxiety about knowledge and has also triggered the upsurge of "lifelong learning". The rapid development of the Internet industry has provided the soil for this upsurge. The main position for local people to learn new knowledge has shifted from offline to online Internet. Under the background, the traditional education model has been unable to meet the various new needs of learners. The Internet education model has gradually shown its advantages and gradually Popular. Under such circumstances, I would like to contribute to the field of online education by implementing an Android App. After some research and upon Professor’s suggestion, I target my honor project on the Weblearn website. Comparing with other online teaching platforms, Weblearn is designed for making teaching and learning easier by means of Resource center, Quiz, and Forum sections. Till today, Weblearn can only be accessed via Web Browser from Computer. The lack of an Android APP prevents End Users from using their little spare time to learn and manage their learning process. Thus, I would like to implement from scratch an Android App, which helps users get access from their Android device to basic functionalities offered by Weblearn, including but not limited to writing quizzes, viewing learning material, and the public forum...
