Virtual Reality Kinetic Prompt Generator

ABSTRACT
Writing Prompts serve as a convenient tool for providing a simple foundation or baseline for writers to expand on. Most online sites and tools tend to generate their prompts by randomly choosing subsections from a pre-made list and combining them together to form a single prompt. Sites like these generally have optional filter capabilities by genre or even by specific word types (verbs, nouns, etc.) but generally lack more detailed user input. Lesser known prompt generators may employ more abstract and complex methods by producing prompts from analyzing pixels in a JPG image or even mapping RGB compositions to certain sentences. The Virtual Reality Kinetic Prompt Generator (henceforth referred to as VRKPG) serves as a proof of concept of a writing prompt tool that produces its results from a user’s hand gestures. The VRKPG aims to provide an alternative writing prompt generator which creates results via more unique kinetic input rather than generating something at random.
