The goal of this project was to establish a process for testing and training the ebpH intrusion detection system. Several applications were selected for evaluation, and a testsuite was written to exercise these applications. Through multiple iterations of training and testing, followed by a period for improvement of the testsuite, a method was developed that minimized the number of false positives, while maintaining the ability to accurately detect intrusions. The ebpH system was able to make precise distinctions between anomalous and normal behaviour for the created set of intrusions.
