ABSTRACT
While many food lovers already have the struggle of finding a place to eat when they are hungry, this becomes an even more evident problem when finding a delicious spot for multiple people to enjoy. FoodBucket is a mobile app that allows for collaborative restaurant tracking and a recommender system that can both be used for your every day single food ventures or with friends, family, and new peers! The app contains search and review tools that will continuously update your preferences to make sure the algorithm presents to you restaurants and locations that you would like. This means the more spots that you and your group members review, the better and more accurate the recommender system becomes. App features that would interest everyday consumers is the ability to easily navigate and view restaurant details (ratings, pictures, location, store hours etc.), bucket list eye-catching restaurants to revisit in the future, and a convenient group management system to recommend restaurants for the whole group to enjoy.
