Since the power of information technology and the internet have grown fast, people have gradually entered the era of information overload and they have found solution such as search engine to filter information they need, but search engines were not that smart in the early days. Searching through search engines was based on the premise that users had clear needs, but when users did not have clear needs, search engines would be powerless. The recommendation system is an important tool to resolve this contradiction. The task of the recommendation system is to contact users and information. On the one hand, it helps users find information that is valuable to them. On the other hand, the information can be displayed in front of users who are interested in it, to help users discover their potential from the massive amount of information. The main objective of this project is to implement a movie recommend system based on selected movie and get better comprehension about recommend methods and its related coding theory.
