ABSTRACT
Technology came into our lives and continues to make living easier. This honour project aims to develop an everyday application that helps foodies to cook and to share the cooking menu by updating the service. Users get access to this application by registering an account so that they can log in using email and password. The authentication instantiates a credential for users so that users can log in to the homepage where they can start creating their own menu and searching for menus created by other users. Once the menu has been created, the information is uploaded into the background so that other users can get access to the new menu. Upon reading a menu, a Cooking mode is initiated that which users’ speech is automatically recognized and used to control the flow of the cooking process. At the current stage, the Voice Control Cooking Application is completed as being defined. All the features work in harmony to share menus among different users and recognize users’ speech and control the flow of the cooking process.
