The project Leaf Finance is a finance and social media based mobile application. The mobile application provides users with international market data including live stock price quotes, historical price quotes in an interactive time-series line chart, key financial statistics and the ability to create a personal watchlist/portfolio. Moreover, each stock ticker has its own discussion board where users can interact with each other by creating comments, replying to comments, and liking comments. Furthermore, users have the ability to calculate sales tax based on the Canadian province/territory as well as have the option to log out, sign into a different account, or register a new account. Overall this mobile application simplifies the process of researching different stocks, it’s trends and showcase of current market sentiments.
