As the field of robotics progresses, more and more household chores are being consigned to robots. From vacuuming and moping to even mowing lawns. However, there is a distinct lack of robots that clear the snow from yards in the winter. The goal of this project was to work towards filling this void by creating a Robot Snow Blower that runs in a simulated environment. Furthermore, with the rise of cloud service in the workplace, such as the services of AWS or Microsoft Azure, I decided to take the opportunity to improve my skills with cloud development. I used cloud services to implement an Internet-of-Things type communications network for relaying messages within the system.
