As a Mobile developer on the Shop Cash Buyer Experience team, I lead the mobile development side of the earn 3% cash back project. This project aimed to allow users to earn 3% (shop) cash back on eligible Shopify stores online or within the shop app. The mobile development aspect of the project included creating a new screen to display information about the new experiment, creating new components to be used within the app to be shown to users apart of the experiment, as well as other notification handlers and analytical emitter used to gain insight full data on the progression of the project. I mainly used React native for creating these components and handlers, as well as other tools for version control, CI/CD, testing frameworks, and emulators/simulators for mobile devices.
